Down to Earth

..I want to share a bit about what it means to have a “Partner” supporting you in your businesses, in the home or out of the home. I know it’s easy, much too easy to say, ” Oh, I am too tired to tackle that or let one of the kids do it, or it isn’t my job and I have too much to do already” to our families, isn’t it? Or you might be thinking, why doesn’t somebody see I need a little help around here! Right?

However, no matter what’s going on, when you have a mate or business partner who “RUNS” that extra mile for you while your resting, twittering on the computer with files or shooting that extra video session, creating websites, blogs or just thinking, it is wonderful to know there is someone special in your corner. I have that someone special in my corner. His name is Clifford Guy. He isn’t always the most spoken individual or even the most scientific, but those corners he shores up in my life just bring nothing but pure bliss and ease to my life and mind.

Two days ago while I was in here doing Greeting Card Pro-mo’s, when he came rushing in and said, “Joyce, You don’t have to worry when company comes now, I just cleaned out under the Refrigerator!”
What you say? Will company see that? Of course not, but the silly little jokes combined with real honest help sure makes for a brighter day. After the giggles we both had & the hot coffee break that followed I sure had a marvelous finish to my daily chores on here.
So in closing…do this for that hard working mate, co-worker or Partner ~ Serve up some “little chore helps sauteed’ in humor ” with a gentle expression of kindness and your business time will flourish. So will your marriage if you are working closely with your mate like I am.
Cliff always makes my day go easier and happier. Why, this morning over breakfast here in the office of course, he got a Ham Radio call on Echo-Link from Russia. Now that is a wild way to start your day!
I was so proud of him and just yesterday, he got a call from a Home Schooled Student in PA and answered some questions for that 13 year old girl who was interested in becoming a Ham Radio Technician.
I just love to hear him say, ” This is Kilo Echo 5 Whiskey X Ray Lima or KE5WXL here!
You just never know when God leads your day, where it will take you.
So my adivce is…Love your God, love your mate and serve your Partner! You will go far!
