Down to Earth

                                                                                                                     “Walking in the Sand”

When I wanted to do this blog and WEBSITE my Website Creator asked me some neat creative questions about my personality, dreams, talents and what I wanted to help people see and feel here at DT-EARTH ( Down To Earth).

I told him Jesus was the main line thought, Creativity in writings and poetry and to have something wonderful to give back after all the pleasant experiences I have had from others kindnesses.  He hit the nail on the head when I said, Seashores, water, Quills and My picture.    The fish sign is particularly my favorite of the Jesus Symbols because it is how the Christians identified themselves one to another by drawing a fish in the sand.  The untrained would not realize what it meant and thus be identified to the Christian to not divulge his faith walk to them.  I like to think of it as a “safety net” for them.  Can’t you just imagine how it might have felt to know your flesh could be killed at any time, walking those paths of Jesus and don’t you just know from the hot roads with perilous disasters waiting at every turn, from robbers and attackers you may say…where was there any rest for them?  I say, When Jesus went away to pray by the Sea of Galilee and took off his sandals, can’t you just see him smile and hear him say? 

 Awhhhhh, the cool wet sand was rest for his weary hot feet but the smiles he gave others there or to His Father God was so pleasing and rest for his soul.  So when I look at my website I imagine Jesus walking on the sand, cooling his feet and resting His weary soul along with me.  If you can’t get to a beach, then go out and let the water hose run over your feet before bedtime.  This is a Wow!  and Your Soul will go  Awhhhhhh!!!!
